The fruit is integral and firm, well gauged and strongly expressive. It seems like a miracle considering the scorching summer that preceded the harvest (which was brought forward compared to normal). Soft and mouth filling though never excessively, and no tannic harshness. Refreshing and full with expressive fruit. Like the 2002 but for different reasons, it is a masterpiece given the growing year.
