A cold growing year, difficult in the selection at harvest due also to severe hail. Opens on the nose with strong fresh and balsamic notes. After a few minutes in the glass it expresses subtle earthy and musky notes. On the palate it is restrained and deep, assertive and austere. In the finish, the earthy notes perceived on the nose return, mingling with hints of charcoal and pencil lead. The most rigid and austere of all the wines, it never lacks tension or development on the palate.
